I am not sure about it, but I would think this makes a lot of sense. Early on in the movie while Bruce Banner is still in hiding, right before the first battle scene in brazil, General Ross is briefing his soldiers. Blonsky asks "Is he a fighter?" to this General Ross replies with a list of deaths that Bruce is responsible for. The list includes "and possibly two canadian hunters." I took this to be a reference to Wolverines first appearance fighting the hulk. Every other name on the list was a for sure casualty, but the canadian hunters were 'possibly' killed which could mean that they healed up and left the scene, and everyone knows that Wolverine is a canadian himself.
Just a thought.

Sounds like it's time to buy a Bluray player. Having extra features is alright by me.

In the rainy cave scene, after he tosses the rock at nothing, something falls from the sky. Its about a quarter of the way in on the right side. very noticeable on bluray. Makes sense if its Thor. Good work Marvel for making movies interesting.

Paul Soles (Stanley) was the voice of SpiderMan/Peter Parker as you mentioned, but more directly related to this movie he was also the voice of Dr. Bruce Banner in the 1960s Incredible Hulk animated series, hence the reason for his appearance. He also voiced Rick Jones and did several other animated Marvel voices including IronMan, Captain America, and one simply called The Marvel Superheroes (which was essentially The Avengers).

I haven't seen the alternate opening. But it will be interesting now that Captain America is on deck.

I noticed that you did mention Mr. Ferrigno, somehow I missed it. I didn't see however, the mentioning of Jack McGee (the other student with Jim Wilson). Jack McGee (played by the late Jack Colvin) was the name of the reporter on the tv series that was always chasing down David Banner and the Hulk.
